Akakus Oil Operations Company invites all specialized and competent companies in providing waste management services to participate in the prequalification process.

The participant must have the required technical and financial resources and shall submit to Akakus Oil Operations Company complete prequalification documents in accordance with the provisions stated in this announcement as follows:

1. Legal file.

2. Financial file.

3. Health, Safety, Environment and Quality file.

4. Technical file including (technical profile, experience, CVs …etc).

Only participants who have been prequalified shall be invited to submit to the tender at the appropriate time, and no participant shall be notified of non-qualification.

Akakus Oil Operations Company shall determine the prequalification criteria in accordance with contractual regulations, and reserves its right to reject any or all participants at its sole discretion, and the decision of Akakus Oil Operations Company shall be final and not subject to appeal.

This prequalification invitation does not obligate or bind Akakus Oil Operations Company to issue any tender or to conclude any contract.

Any costs resulting from the preparation and submission of prequalification documents including any site visits or any other related costs shall be borne by the participating companies.

Terms and Requirements:

Interested companies must meet the stated requirements and submit all required information and documents below:

1. Submission of a letter addressed to the Prequalification Committee (Joint Projects) indicating the desire to participate in the prequalification, including email, telephone number, mobile …etc for communication purposes.

2. Companies wishing to participate whether local or foreign with actual branches in Libya must submit all required legal documents proving their legal registration status.

3. Companies without branches in Libya wishing to participate shall submit a written commitment to complete all legal procedures related to registration with the Ministry of Economy in Libya and other relevant authorities in case they are invited to participate in the tender through the Joint Projects Tender Committee after passing prequalification within a period to be determined later.

4. Submission of CVs of individuals concerned with this field.

5. Company profile documents and certificates demonstrating experience in the required field, including a list of contractor capabilities, similar executed works, and ongoing works, in addition to any supporting documents.

The attached scope of work contains all details of the required services.

1. Companies must provide proof of compliance with all international environmental legislation in executing the work.

2. Health, Safety, Environment and Quality: the participating company must submit the following:

Approved HSEQ Management System with company policies.

ISO certificates ISO-9001, ISO-14001 & ISO 45001.

List of HSEQ procedures followed by the company.

Financial documents for the last three years certified by an external auditor must be submitted.

The company has the right to exclude any submission not meeting the above requirements.
